Certified engineers replace the head with a Ryse Energy G-11. Non-destructive testing on the existing tower confirms suitability. A retrofit ladder and workbasket are installed.
None. Access.Energy takes responsibility for installation, servicing, maintenance, consumables, and monitoring.
Not in most cases. The existing tower is retained subject to non-destructive testing.
Case-by-case. A typical Access.Energy deal is not a lump-sum payment. The benefits come from free electricity for the FiT term and zero ongoing costs.
No. Access.Energy completes a transfer of ownership and takes over the FiT and export tariff. In return, you receive free electricity for the FiT duration. A nominal £0.001/kWh applies for contractual purposes.
The contract converts to a Power Purchase Agreement, or you have the option to buy the turbine back.
The asset is our responsibility to get back up and running. We will arrange a trusted maintenance team to sort the issue as soon as possible.
