What we do

Three ways we work with UK renewable asset owners.

01

Repowering

Pre-2013, the UK small wind market was flooded with cheap, unreliable turbines that promised high returns and failed to deliver. An estimated 1,000+ of these sites still hold valid Feed-in-Tariffs with 10–15 years remaining, but the asset is broken or underperforming.

Access.Energy invests in the site and uses Ryse Energy certified engineers to replace the turbine head with a G-11 unit. The G-11 has produced consistent, reliable energy for over 30 years across 1,000+ UK installs and is under warranty for the payback period. We do not replace the tower in most cases. Non-destructive testing confirms tower suitability. Targeted payback is 5–7 years and IRR per site is 10–25%.

02

Asset purchase

For owners with a working, revenue-generating turbine who want to liquidate their investment, we offer a straight purchase. The owner receives an upfront contribution and free electricity for the remainder of the FiT term. Primary turbine focus: Evoco, C&F, West Wind, Gaia Wind.

03

Power purchase agreements

At end of FiT, contracts convert to a Power Purchase Agreement, or the original site owner has the option to buy the turbine back.
